ELECTRIC SCOOTER PURCHASE AND USE – IMPORTANT NOTICE

Thank you for choosing our store/website. Before you purchase any electric scooter, please read the following important information carefully.

⚠️ LEGAL REQUIREMENTS IN IRELAND

Under the Irish Road Traffic and Roads Act 2023 (and the associated Electric Scooter Regulations 2024), an electric scooter may be used on public roads only if it meets all of the following technical specifications:

Maximum speed ≤ 20 km/h

Motor power ≤ 400 W

Total weight (including battery) ≤ 25 kg

Wheel diameter ≥ 200 mm

No seat fitted

Must have front/rear lights, reflectors, front and rear brakes, and a bell

Rider must be at least 16 years old

Single rider only – no passengers

Prohibited on footpaths, pedestrian zones, and motorways

⚠️ PRODUCT USE AND CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

Some of the scooter models we sell have performance specifications (speed, power, etc.) that may exceed the above legal limits for Irish public roads. These models are designed for use on private land, closed circuits, or other lawful non‑public areas only.

By purchasing, you acknowledge and agree that:

Buyer’s obligation – It is your sole responsibility to check and comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your country/region. Using a scooter that exceeds the Irish legal limits on public roads may constitute an offence, and the vehicle may be seized by An Garda Síochána. You may face fines, prosecution, and other legal consequences.

Risks of use – High‑power/high‑speed scooters can cause serious injury or death if operated improperly. You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age required in your jurisdiction), wear appropriate protective gear (helmet, etc.), and use the scooter only in a safe environment.

Disclaimer of liability – Our products are sold in good condition and meet factory quality standards. However, we accept no liability whatsoever for any fines, seizures, legal claims, personal injuries, or property damage arising from your failure to comply with local laws or from any misuse of the product.

Acceptance – By completing your purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this entire notice.
